Hit & Run in Kings Hill Asda

Our local chief superintendent Windy has been working on a new investigation that's come to light last week. #TrolleyHitnRun

It was a normal Sunday early evening on Kings Hill in the summer of 2015.

Runners were nowhere to be seen, the takeaways were busy and Asda was just about locked up at 4pm sharp (because ya know, they close at 4pm so that actually means staff need to be in their cars-engine-on at 4pm, so no pesky customers allowed in from 3:45pm!). THEN CLOSE AT 3:45PM THEN!!! (Sorry, off subject.)

One local mother was amongst 200 others, performing the 'Pre Weeks School Lunch Trolley Dash' around Asda when suddenly out of nowhere, a mad woman on a supped-up modified fuel injected V8 shopping trolley "Nearly mowed us down!" claims the anonymous mother. "If it wasn't for my son spotting her, I'd have probably had two broken legs, at least. Maybe a third!"

We approached Windy to see if we could help her with investigations, who confirmed "Yes, we are looking for whom we believe is a local bird, last seen on CCTV hurtling away from Asda towards Discovery Drive wearing full leathers and a stig like helmet." [Actual CCTV footage above].

Driving is often the negative subject around Kings Hill so officials are keen to put a stop to modified shopping trolleys before it 'becomes a thing'.

The victim of #TrolleyHitnRun is offering a cash reward of £2.40 or a Flat White @ Costa for any information leading to the arrest of the Trolley bird.

If you can help please do not hesitate to get in touch.
