A handful of Kings Hill residents are over the moon, yet mostly outraged at the thought of a Hooters bar opening on family orientated Kings Hill.

"It's TRUE!"

Thai Orchid, a restaurant that was recently punished by lack of custom since poor hygiene ratings were published, has since inevitably closed down.

One local resident took to social media to cast a poll in the interest of finding out what people would like as a replacement. Amongst a family run Italian Restaurant and a cocktail bar being amongst the favourites, Hooters made a last min dash to the top from residents behind the scenes.

"The voters might not be visible to all" claimed local page manager Rod. "as according to the admin settings, I can see quite a few people voted whilst logged in using limited profile settings which blocks the votee info, but I can confirm that Hooters did indeed win the vote by an outstanding 280 votes clear".

Shoppers leaving Asda today, noticed the promotional photoshoot and signage work beginning with a sense of curiosity, whilst other shoppers who walked around from Waitrose to pick up their Dry Cleaning were clearly outraged!

"Mummy, why are those ladies wearing such small shorts and vests in this weather" asked one child on the post School run to Costa 2.

"One small boy was so intrigued, he scooted into the pharmacy window."

As the Spitfire Pub is now closed for a full refurbishment, the Hooters franchise has swooped on a prime window of opportunity to launch it's local brand.

"Many people have the wrong impression about Hooters. We're a family friendly bar/cafe and welcome all kinds of folk here" said Kings Kill manager Ms Bounce Alot.

"We will be advertising for waitresses and naturally would encourage local talent to apply as they will be given first refusals. We will be serving food, drinks and showing all major sporting events on our large screens including Beach Volley ball and ladies darts" continued Ms Alot.

A Local business 'Kings Hill Opticians' staff commented "I think it's a good idea. Speaking purely for eyesight reasons, it is a well known statistical fact that wherever there is a Hooters, poor eyesight does naturally improve in a short space of time".

Do you welcome the news of the local Hooters?

Are you interested in joining the team?

Or are you utterly outraged?
